Morana

Native GUI. No compromises. Just pixels and stone.

Why Native GUI?

The web is great for distribution, but not for everything. Sometimes you need pixel-perfect control, 60fps rendering, direct GPU access. No browser sandbox, no CSS hacks, no compromises. Morana is a native GUI framework built from scratch on GPU rendering.

We share a visual language with Vesna — same design tokens, same material philosophy. Two worlds, one stone. What you carve on the web, you'll find on the desktop. And vice versa.

Two worlds, one stone.

Three Pillars

Stone

A material system inspired by real stones — granite, obsidian, sandstone. Every surface on the GPU, every texture procedural. No bitmaps, no dependency on design tools.

Window

Window manager, widgets, layout engine. Everything GPU-accelerated, everything reactive. No retained mode bloat — immediate mode with smart invalidation. Widgets that behave naturally on every platform.

Sharing

Design tokens shared with Vesna — one visual language, two media. Colors, typography, spacing, elevation. What works on the web works natively. Consistency without copying.
